When God Feels Silent, Read This Immediately (Psalm 145) ποΈπ | Bible Exhortation | Bible Book Chapter Verse!
Have you ever felt like your prayers are hitting a glass ceiling? You are not ignored. Psalm 145:18 reveals the specific condition God is waiting for to draw near to you today. Stop begging and start receiving.
“Have you ever felt like you are talking to an empty room? You pray, you ask for help, and you cry out… but the only answer you get is silence.
It is a terrible feeling. You start to wonder, ‘Is God angry with me? Has He forgotten my address?’
If that is you today, I want you to take a deep breath. You are not alone. And you are not ignored.
There is a powerful promise in the book of Psalms that solves this mystery. It tells us exactly where God is, and exactly how to find Him. But there is a catchβa condition that most people miss.”
“Before we read the verse, you need to understand who wrote it.”
“This promise was written by King David. But he didn’t write it while he was sitting on a comfortable throne.
David spent years of his life running away. He was hunted by enemies. He was betrayed by his own family. He spent cold nights hiding in caves, wondering if he would live to see the sunrise.
David knew what it felt like to be lonely. He knew what it felt like to be scared.
But in the middle of all that fear, he discovered a secret. He found out that God does not hide from people who are in trouble. Actually, trouble is usually where God is closest.”
“Here is the promise found in Psalm 145, verse 18.”
“Listen closely to the Word of God:
‘The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.’
Letβs read that last part again.
‘To all who call upon Him… in truth.’
This is the key that unlocks Heaven’s door.”
“You see, many people claim the first part of the verse, but they ignore the second part.”
“There are three secrets hidden in this one sentence.
Secret Number One is ‘Nearness.’
In the original language, this word doesn’t just mean ‘close by.’ It means a relative. It means a neighbor. It means God is as close as your next breath. He is not a distant King on a cloud; He is right next to you.
Secret Number Two is ‘The Call.’
God is a gentleman. He waits to be invited. He has all the power in the world, but He often waits for you to say, ‘Lord, I need you.’ He respects your free will.
But Secret Number Three is the most important one. ‘In Truth.’
This is where we get it wrong. We think we have to fix ourselves before we pray. We think we need to use fancy words or sound ‘holy.’
But calling in ‘Truth’ means being honest. It means going to God and saying, ‘Lord, I am angry,’ or ‘Lord, I am doubting.’
God cannot heal the fake you. He can only heal the real you. When you stop pretending, God starts moving.”
“So, what does this mean for your life today?”
“My friend, stop performing for God. He already knows what is in your heart. He doesn’t want your religious words; He wants your pain.
If you are broken, bring Him your broken pieces. If you are addicted, bring Him your struggle. If you are worried, bring Him your anxiety.
The Bible says He is near to those who call in TRUTH.
The moment you drop the maskβthe moment you get real with Godβis the moment you will feel His presence wrap around you like a warm blanket.
He is not waiting for you to be perfect. He is waiting for you to be honest.”
“I want to pray this promise over you right now.”
“Close your eyes if you can. Letβs pray.
‘Heavenly Father, I come to You today just as I am. I am done hiding. I am done pretending I have it all together.
Lord, You said You are near to the honest heart. So today, I give you my truth. I give you my worries. I give you my heavy burden.
Draw near to me, God. Let me feel your presence in this room right now. In Jesus’ name. Amen.’
If you received that prayer, type ‘Amen’ in the comments below.”
“Now that you are walking in truth, you need protection.”
“The devil hates it when you get honest with God. You need to know how to protect your mind.
